The OCIA is for adult individuals who have never been baptized; and those baptized in another Christian faith who may be considering joining the Catholic Church.  Baptized Catholics who desire to complete their initiation into the church by receiving the Sacraments of First Eucharist, Confirmation, and Reconciliation are also welcome as are older children who seek baptism or have been baptized but have not completed their initiation through the Sacraments of Eucharist and Confirmation. Sessions begin in September and extend through the Easter season of the following year with the Sacraments of initiation or reception into the church taking place at the Easter Vigil.
